Your web site could hold multiple types of data, ie documents, resource and general information. For this reason it is often wise to develop a specialist search tool to allow the users of the site to specify what kind of information they are looking for.

Our advanced search facility would allow the users to select ‘search news’, ‘search events’ or ‘search publications’ etc. The search box can appear on each page as part of the navigation. The advanced search would usually be on a page by itself, accessed via an advanced search button ( as more space would be required for the search options )
