Affordable Housing Guide -
Local Government Yorkshire and Humber
Duo were approached by an existing client - Arc4 - with a view to working together on an upcoming tender / project. Currently editing two websites that were created by Duo; staff were already familiar with the our Content Management System and were keen to use Duo CMS as part of the proposal.
After winning the commision, Arc4 and Duo Design worked closely to create a website for Local Government Yorkshire and Humber . Duo, designing the website and its graphical elements, whilst Arc4 - using Duo CMS - were free to continuously create and edit content (both during and following the constuction of the site).
Arc4 in collaboration with LGYH will continue to develop and evolve site content for the forseeable future with Duo's hosted solution providing an easily editable platform which can grow and change as the website demands. Additional functionality will be integrated by Duo, as users take advantage of the online tools and provide useful feedback via the website.
The Affordable Housing Guide has been developed and sponsored by Local Government Yorkshire and Humber. It has been designed to offer practical support and guidance in delivering affordable housing through the development control process.
The guide is aimed at those new to affordable housing, as well as experienced officers; and it is also designed to let users 'dip in and out' of sections to seek clarification and advice about various elements within the overall process.
The website includes guidance around a series of questions offering best practice examples and templates for support and a comprehensive glossary of terms. Very useful for the new user!
At the moment a holding page is in place as the website's content is still being developed between Arc4 and LGYH, with plans to launch in the very near future.
